Our Story

When the Onondaga decided to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Two Row Wampum Treaty of 1613, we in the land of the M'heakannuck heard the call, the call to observe this treaty and all treaties. A treaty is an agreement between two or more sovereign people. The call is also to remember we are sovereign. The call is also to remember. Nearly all the peoples of Northeast North America are parties to and members of the Covenant Chain.
